this is the filiming schedule for my documentary project

Self reflection: A major problem we faced during this time is that we went really off schedule as we were loaded with other tasks from other subjects. Though to compensate this we took our time to coordinate a time where everybody has free time and ready to shoot. Which in result turned out to be successful. The use of a group chat came really helpful in this case as that was our main source of communication/ aside from meeting together in real life. This made it easier to organize things and get in touch with each other.

Location Scout and Risk Assesment

 This is my risk assesment and location scout for our documentary

Location 1
Location:	Regents Secondary School (classrooms)
Events in scene:	Interview with Bagus's Friends, happy pictures of Bagus and his crush
Pros of location:	Easy to access, classroom aren't loud, clean, good lighting
Cons of location:	Some people might go into the classrooms unexpectedly, not all classrooms are empty (teacher might be present)
Alternatives:	Someone's living room
Risk Assessment
Potential hazards:	The projector might fall off randomly and it could hit someone.
Evaluate risks:	If the projector hit someone in the head, it would cause brain injury and it could lead to memory loss.
Control measures:	We would prevent it by not touching the projector.
Responsibility:	We all will be in charge of the control measure to keep everyone safe.
Time frame:	We would do the controlmeasure before we shoot the interviews in the classroom.

Location:	Kebun Raya Bedugul
Events in scene:	Pictures of Bagus with the girl being happy and then, he will confess to the girl and get rejected
Pros of location:	It is a beautiful location that is suited for a confession to take place. The location is vast so we could shoot many variations of the scene and take advantage of the different surronding backgrounds (use the leaves for a more romatic mood).
Cons of location:	It is quite crowded at some period of time and it could potentially ruin the shot since some tourist might be in it. Also, Kebun Raya is far away so if we took a shot that we don't like, we would have to go to Kebun Raya again to reshoot.
Alternatives:	Renon Park
Risk Assessment
Potential hazards:	A big branch might fall off from one of the tall trees and hit someone's head
Evaluate risks:	The concussion could lead to a braininjury and ppotentially causing lossing consciousness
Control measures:	Stay away from unstable looking trees/tree branches.
Responsibility:	Everyone is in charge for the control measure since everyone is responsible for their own safety. We could also remind each other of potential risk that might happen around the environment.
Time frame:	31st Agust 2024
Other notes:

Location 4
Location:	Klungkung Red Bridge
Events in scene:	Bagus went out of the car with the girl and he got rejected by her
Pros of location:	Looks unique and aesthetic which it's a suitable location for a  confession to take place. It's an open and wide space for us to easily record the scene.
Cons of location:	far from our homes so the way there is very time consuming, we also went past big, high speed traffic roads on the way which is very dangerous. Due to the earthquake threats of Indonesia recently, filming near the bridge will be very dangerous.
Alternatives:	Kebun Raya
Risk Assessment
Potential hazards:	Possible crash on the road, possible earthquakes and would create a tsunami that would greatly imapact us since its close to the shore.
Evaluate risks:	A crash could happen and the recording would have to stop
Control measures:	We prevent these from happening by not recording in busy place.
Responsibility:	We would all be incharge of the control measures and be responsibe for our own safety. If anyone is doing something dangerous, we could remind them and discourage them from doing it.
Time frame:	1st September 2024

Self reflection: One of our ideal locations to shoot a scene was in Kebun Raya which was quite far from our homes. Therefore proper time management is required since it may take a whole day for the whole operation to finish. As expected we were all to busy to do it at Kebun Raya, hence we scrapped the place and tried to think of another place. We were thinking of lapangan renon though the place is always crowded, luckily we all had an event at Klungkung on a Saturday and decided to shoot our scene there. The place was vast with ideal spots to shoot, the mis-en-scene was good enough for a typical convention. An open field to show that they are isolated as well as to show the connection between each other. A skill I learned from this is time management, knowing that it was a far place and needed the whole day we should have prepared better. Hence this taught me a lesson to always manage and set a proper time.

Self reflection: While the storyboard was mostly done by Saka, me and my group gave him some directions on how to draw the shots and the details it has such as the mis-en-scene. Though a problem we had was we kept delaying the drawing because we delayed the shooting as well. So we had to cram all of this in one night . A valuable lesson we were given was that we really needed better time management. Though problems aside, the storyboard is like a visualization plan that helps us remmeber the required shots that we need to take. This reduces the time it takes and the number of the takes recorded since we already had a picture. Therefore making this storyboard was really helpful in completing this documentary.

To add, this wouldn't be possible without technological convergence.  Camscanner is a software that allows pictures to be scanned in a high definition, compared to using the normal camera , the quality would be much better.

Self reflection: The script was mostly done by Bagus. Though I helped him give some input on the script about the things the interviewees have to say.  This script has helped us layout the things the actors have to say, as well as adjust the timeline of the video to allow the flow to actually make sense. A problem we had making this script was finiding out things to actually say for around 3 minutes. To fix this we did some practice shots on things to say until we had a fixed script.

Self reflection: This self reflection included many things, one of them was our target audience. Laying out the demographics and psychographics for the target audience helped us layout the connotations for our intended scenes. Such as how we are trying to target teens and people from Indonesia. Therefore we did an interview in the classroom to represent teens at school as well as doing an interview using the indonesian language. Though this targets Indonesian people, by adding subtittles this could make it a global reach. A problem we faced while making this is figuring out the actual topic, brainstorming took multiple days before we actually got a solid plot that we as students with limited access can do. Such as limited props and budget ( blood and actual violence won't be toleranted especially if scene happens at school).
